fries at 7A really hit the spot after a weekend on the town, and last night, after the 30-under-30 after party at Randolph Beer, we were left searching for some sustenance in the late hours of the evening. Luckily, Bowery Diner swooped in to save us (aka we couldn't get a cab and wandered over). It was a fitting stop for a late-night bite, as one of the joint's staff members made our list of young up and comers.
This hip new haunt has helped us out in a pinch before (charcuterie plate, mmmmmm), but this time we just went straight for a diner standard: breakfast for dinner. Perhaps it was due to the Champagne that we were sipping at the previous party, but some eggs and breakfast meats sure sounded like it would hit the spot. Witness the bandegja paisa - two eggs, sausage, avocado, chicharron, beans, plantain, queso fresco and aji chili sauce. Not only was it delish, it's the only reason we were able to amble out of bed this morning without being too bleary eyed. Success!
