Roganic, but despite what some sources would have you believe, there's been no big falling out between him and Simon Rogan. Ben took to Twitter to set the record straight, saying: "I have made the very hard decision to leave to spend more time with my young family and pursue my dream of opening my own restaurant. Very grateful to every single member of the team at Roganic who worked so hard to make it what it is today. Working with Simon has been a massive inspiration to me and I look forward to relying on his advice in my future."
While details of his big plans are yet to be revealed, we do know that, among other things, they will include a tie-up with Nuno Mendes at Viajante. In the meantime, he's joined forces with Daniel Young of Young and Foodish to create an event called Sunday Roast. The first Sunday Roast will be held on May 20 at Bea's of Bloomsbury on Maltby Street and promises "great food, drinks and music." And if Ben's skills at Roganic are anything to go by, you won't be disappointed. For more details, including information on how to get tickets - follow @Sunday__Roast on Twitter.
