Hell's Kitchen is awash with wine bars, but the newly opened Bricola stands out for one reason: it might be the neighborhood's tiniest watering hole. The Italian vino den is in a very narrow space that used to house a coffee shop and it consists of maybe a dozen stools at a white-tiled bar and, well, that's pretty much it. What the space lacks in size it makes up for in charm. It's run by the team behind Aria Wine Bar in the West Village, so they have some experience creating off-the-radar
neighborhood gems. Here, they do so with moderately priced Italian wines and a selection of small plates ranging from cheese and charcuterie to a selection of paninis that include options like jumbo shrimp, marinated onions and artichokes. The grub is prepared at a small (yes, we're sensing a theme) counter in the back of the space.
With glasses of vino in the $8-9 range, this new haunt should have no trouble packing it's limited number of stools. If you want to drop by, Bricola is open at 370 West 51st Street - if you don't see any room just take a deep breath and try to squeeze in.

Here actually works out the taste something different we look for some time. So in that situation place and accommodation doesn't matter. Sit for some time, have some drink and food enjoy your evening in your own way. Some time I like this.
