Around Tax Day, we try to watch what we spend, but truthfully that never seems to stop us from going out. To soften the blow, we're sharing the ratings and reviews of the six top prix fixe dinner deals in the Bay Area, just in case you're like us and enjoy a good meal but can't spare the extra $$$ right now.
I just tried getting reservations at eVe, your second place restaurant.
ReplyDeleteThey have been CLOSED for some time now. I guess ZAGAT does not have
any recent insight into restaurants in the Bay
area. How disappointing!
I am sure Isa, 3324 Steiner St., San Francisco; 415-567-9588 is not closed!!!
DeleteHe said eVe not Isa and yes, they closed all their locations last year and they were never a "good value". Whoever wrote this article didn't do very much research.
Delete$33 for 2 courses - a portion of pasta with a poached egg and a piece of overcooked tuna with peanut sauce...I am not surprised that eVe closed.
DeleteISA is my fav, I live in the Marina and love to walk there, lovely design, excellent menu, wonderful service and the tented patio is class theater.
ReplyDeleteLikewise, I live in Los Angeles and frequently visit San Francisco. I love to dine at Isa for their excellent service and delicious food.
