5 Outdoor Spots for Marathon Monday

Jerry Remy's, Fenway, roof deck
It’s pushing 80 on this Marathon Monday in Beantown, and, to boot, the Bo Sox are still going at it, playing the Devil Rays as we post this. If you're out and about and want to enjoy the unseasonably warm temps, check out the outdoor seating at any one of these restaurants near the action:
Audubon Circle: Always great for burger and beer (there are six on tap), and the outdoor seats in the shade at this Fenway pub make it a particularly strong choice for today (617-421-1910).

Columbus Café: Ok, so this American in the South End is a bit out of the fray. Still, there are huevos rancheros and Bloody Mary for brunch until 3 PM-ish today if you're still holding on to the weekend. Or go right for the Tusker, a Kenyan lager, any time (617-247-9001).

Deuxave: Not normally open for lunch, this Back Bay American is serving it right now. The menu includes lobster rolls, fried clams, burgers and the refreshing-sounding grapefruit gimlet (617-517-5915).

Jerry Remy’s: Find your spot in the sun upstairs on the roof deck of this Fenway sports bar, or grab a shaded seat under an umbrella on the front patio and enjoy more than 30 beers on tap (617-236-7369).

Yard House: This national chain serving American bites recently opened in Fenway. It’s rocking right now with a standing-room-only patio, featuring covered and uncovered seating in the back. But order a beer from the list of 142 kinds, hang out long enough and you’ll reach happy hour (3-6 PM, when apps and pizzas are half off) and possibly snag one of those coveted seats (617-236-4083).
