Get a Taste of Alsace at L'Espalier This Sunday
L’Espalier this Sunday, March 25, when the elegant New French icon in the Back Bay presents “an evening in Alsace” - a five-course tasting extravaganza to celebrate the launch of Zagat’s "Presents Program" in Boston. Chef-owner Frank McClelland, along with his chefs, sommelier and fromagier, has put together a unique menu of Alsatian dishes, such as game-bird terrine en croute with smoked and pickled sultana raisins, mustard seeds, crispy Brussels sprout leaves and apple cider vinegar; as well as housemade sausages, spaetzle and Alsatian cheeses for a memorable evening. The dishes will be paired with Alsatian wines. The chefs, sommelier and fromagier will be there to engage in conversation about the menu.
