Ichi Sushi & Sashimi Bar at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London Hotel, which is launching sushi master classes on the first Saturday of every month from April. Head chef Sadayuki Okamoto will demonstrate a selection of signature sushi and sashimi dishes from the menu, such as avocado and cucumber roll, blow-torch salmon roll and tuna belly roll.
Then you'll get the chance to DIY before sitting down to enjoy the fruits of your labours, as well as a further selection of sashimi, nigiri and sushi, accompanied by a glass of sake.
At £30 per person (all-inclusive), the masterclass includes a sparkling sake aperitif and nibbles to start, chef demonstration, hands-on sushi making, a sit-down meal with glass of sake and a half-bottle of water. For an additional £15 guests can enjoy a further three glasses of varied sakes to include full tasting explanations from Ichi's resident sake 'sommelier.'
