The Food Network and The Cooking Channel Announce New Shows for 2012

The Food Network and its sister network, The Cooking Channel have just announced their 2012 lineups including shows previously reported like Meat Men, a show about famed NY butcher Pat LaFrieda and Eddie Huang's Cheap Bites. But some other curious new entries include a show called Cupcake Champions, premiering Sunday, May 13th at 8PM ET/PT and The Anne Burrell Project, in which Anne puts four executive chef candidates through "the toughest interview of their lives" to see if are job material, debuting in June.
