Dickson's Will Open TriBeCa Restaurant, Petit Blue Dog Debuts in Parker Meridien

Dickson's Farmstand Meats
Dickson's Farmstand Meats currently has a prime perch in the Chelsea Market, but the meatery is setting its sights on something much more ambitious. It's gearing up to open a new location in TriBeCa near Church and Franklin Streets. In addition to the butcher shop-style offerings like those you can get at Chelsea Market, this location will also have a restaurant component (carnivores, rejoice). No word yet on opening date, but seeing that they are just signing a lease on the new space, it won't be happening for a while.

Uptown, Burger Joint just got some new company in the Parker Meridien Hotel - Blue Dog Restaurant group just opened its third NYC location in the form of Petit Blue Dog. The health-food purveyor will operate this location as more of a to-go and delivery operation. While there are a few stools for those looking to scarf the food on site, folks in the area will really use the space for quick breakfast and lunch options. In addition to options like tarragon chicken salad, the eatery will also offer a series of "wellness shots" featuring ingredients like wheatgrass and aloe (119 West 56th St.).
