For this week's NY1 video, we dropped by chef Alex Stupak's new East Village Mexican eatery Empellon Cocina. The joint has been generating some choice buzz since it opened a couple weeks ago (we were in the house on day one). Check out the segment above to hear Stupak talk about some of the innovative things he's doing in the kitchen. Oh, and if you're expecting tacos, you're out of luck.
