Ombra Opens in Andersonville

Marty Fosse and Tim Rasmussen (Anteprima) have turned part of sibling restaurant Acre into cicchetti bar Ombra in Andersonville, serving small, interactive Italian plates that are meant to be shared, like bagna cauda ($9), salumi and bruschetta topped with spicy peperonata and herbed goat cheese. As for the interior, expect a clever amalgamation of salvaged materials like rustic wood and leather, tin ceiling, vintage Italian newspapers, decoupage light fixtures and an aerial view of Florence suspended from the ceiling in panels. It may not be Italy, but it at least captures the feel (5310 N. Clark St.; 773-506-8600).
