London Contest: Win an Oyster Masterclass at Wright Brothers Soho

Do you know what a Duchy Native No. 3 is? Or how a Carlingford Lough differs from a Cumbrae or a Lindisfarne? We’re talking oysters, of course, those deliciously slippery sea morsels with a texture and taste like nothing else.

Many of us love the shell-bound delicacies, but how much do you really know about them? Our latest contest, in honor of the current London Restaurants survey, gives you the opportunity to find out much, much more - and of course to taste an awful lot of them, courtesy of a Taste the Oyster Masterclass at Wright Brothers Soho on March 20.

Frankly, what these people don’t know about oysters isn’t really worth knowing. They cultivate and harvest over five million native and pacific oysters each year at their Duchy Oyster Farm in Cornwall, and their recently opened raw bar is doing a roaring trade in all sorts of seafood - do try the oyster shooter if you go - but we digress...
