Multi-disciplinary event and educational space
3rd Ward is headed to the kitchen. The establishment just announced that a new location is planned for 2013, and this one will focus on all things things edible. The space will be dubbed a "culinary incubator" - and no, that's not the tool that keeps the eggs for your omelette nice and warm. The purpose is to promote the food manufacturing industry in Brooklyn, and educate the area's population on healthy eating and cooking techniques at home. Expect lectures, tastings, classes on food prep and drink making, professional development resources for people already in the industry and a cafe and market that will serve healthy meals.
