Check Out the Tasting Menu at the NYC Cinnamon Club Pop-Up

There are just a few more nights left to sample the Cinnamon Club at Desmond's in NYC. Chef Vivek Singh is there until February 11, so you better get your skates on if you want to snare a table. In addition to the a la carte menu, there is a tasting menu at $95 per person that includes:

Spiced Corn Soup, Masala Corn Kebab
Tandoori Style Alaskan Salmon with Dill mustard, Green Pea Chutney
Breast of Anjou Squab Pigeon with Beetroot and Smoked Paprika 'Raita'
Kerala Stir-Fried King Prawns, Coconut Sauce, Curry Leaf Quinoa
Clove Smoked Saddle of Lamb with Onion and Ginger Sauce
Saffron Poached Pear, Pear and Saffron Jelly, South Indian 'Kheer'

Maybe there will be a NYC opening in the future? For now, chef Singh's attention is focused on the opening of Cinnamon Soho in March.  It will be at 5 Kingly Street, W1, and is conveniently located between Cinnamon Club and Cinnamon Kitchen in oh-so-trendy Soho on the site of the former Red Bar. This restaurant will be more casual with an all-day menu as well as pre- and post-theatre menus and open late with a 1 AM license.
