Clubby LES hotspot Beauty & Essex may lure in more partiers than serious foodies, but the plates being created here by chef Chris Santos easily hold their own against any of B&E's more soigne competitors. But even we were a bit surprised to find parsnip ravioli with wood-roasted mushrooms on the menu in a place that bumps Flo Rida and Lil' Wayne. The combo of creamy, earthy parsnip, smoky mushrooms and pillowy ravioli make the perfect savory bite. Get thee down to Essex street and taste for yourself.
