30 Under 30: LA's Hottest Up-and-Comers

Even in a city obsessed with youthfulness, the finalists on our list of LA's 30 most important restaurant-world up-and-comers under 30 stand tall. These youthful culinarians bring a fresh approach to their various jobs. Note how many began working in food and hospitality in their teens - what we have here isn't so much a career as a calling.   2. That's a great list. If I could add one more it would be Dylan Hallas, the new chef at Villeta. But yeah great list, love Casey Lane. TTK is such a nice restaurant.

  3. Charlie Parker at Freddy Smalls is a fantastic chef as well, with a great resume and no airs of the ever popular executive chef douchiness. Make the list 31 under 30.

  7. how do they even choose these - I mean did everyone submit themselves because this list isnt that great. Some really impressive people aren't on here and some others not so impressive are...
