Water Grill, one of LA's top-rated seafood restaurants, closed for renovation on December 18. And as the weeks have added up, its absence has been felt more and more by the Downtown business community, and those who would have dined there before heading for the nearby Music Center. The good news is that it will reopen for dinner this Tuesday, with the first seating at 5 PM in a fully remodeled room with "oversized Pullman and horseshoe style booths, [and] white subway tile columns with inlaid antique mirrors." There's a new menu as well, though they're still offering the signature Crisfield Maryland jumbo blue crab cakes and towering plateaus from the marble-topped oyster bar. And they're pouring ten on tap craft beers as well - think of this as the city's most upscale gastropub (213-891-0900).
