Pete Wells recently filed his review of
Romera and gave the super-high-end eatery in the Dream Hotel one star. Well, it looks like
Dr./Chef Romera is changing things up after the missive, which had to be not as good as the restaurant was hoping for. The tasting-menu-only restaurant just announced a new, mid-priced option, featuring nine-courses of the chef's fare for $185. This is not to say that the other options are no longer available - diners can still opt for the full splurge and do 11 courses for $245 or opt for the (relatively) low cost option of five courses for $125 per person (212-929-5800).
