BBQ hounds are loosening their belts in readiness for
Meat Week, happening January 29 - February 5. That’s when enthusiasts meet up informally at participating 'cue establishments, ordering and paying for their own food and drinks, and then join in the festivities with other attendees. This year the schedule includes rookie practitioners of the art -
Hill Country,
Memphis Barbeque,
Pork Barrel BBQ and
Smoke & Barrel - as well as veterans like
Rocklands and
